Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Go to Settings > Security. Select Enable 2FA and scan the QR code using an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy. Enter the code generated by your app to confirm. 2FA adds an extra layer of protection by requiring both your password and a time-sensitive code to log in.
Create a Strong Password
Use at least 12 characters, mixing uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special symbols. Avoid common words or personal information such as birthdays. Change your password periodically and do not reuse it across platforms.
Set Recovery Options
Link a backup email and secure phone number. Store backup codes provided when enabling 2FA and keep this information offline in a safe location. Having recovery methods ensures you can regain access if your login credentials are lost.
